Domestic ultraviolet absorber UV-234

The white injection-molded domestic ultraviolet absorber UV-234 is a hydroxybenzotriazole compound, appearing as a white to light yellow powder, with a melting point of 137-143°C, a density of 1.12-1.22 g/cm³, soluble in organic solvents such as chloroform and benzene, slightly soluble in alcohols, and insoluble in water; it has excellent thermal stability (decomposition temperature >300°C), low volatility, and can efficiently absorb and convert light energy in the 270-380 nm ultraviolet range.

This material is widely used in high-temperature processing polymer systems such as polycarbonate, polyester, polyamide, and polyvinyl chloride. It is suitable for films, fibers, sheets, and high-temperature resistant coatings. An addition amount of 0.1-0.5% can effectively improve the material's resistance to ultraviolet aging.
