The domestically produced ultraviolet absorber UV329 is a benzotriazole compound, appearing as a white to light yellow powder, with a melting point of 101-106°C and a flash point of 239.2°C. It features low volatility, high heat resistance, good dispersibility, and excellent UV absorption efficiency (peak at 343 nm). It is widely used in PC, PE, PP, PS, ABS resins, and outdoor products. By absorbing ultraviolet light of 270-380 nm, it prevents material yellowing and aging. The recommended dosage is 0.1%-1.0%, especially suitable for light-colored or colorless plastics, films, and fiber products for photostability protection, and is often used in combination with antioxidants.
